About the position
The Lab/System Integration position at Biblioso involves a variety of responsibilities centered around vendor and logistics coordination for deployment, as well as the physical implementation of hardware within the Server Installation environment. This includes tasks such as tracking and managing servers, power distribution units, and network equipment, as well as basic cabling and potential sheet metal modifications. The role also encompasses system administration and support, including imaging with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, managing Active Directory, and handling requests for issues and changes. Additionally, the position requires coordination with other teams for server installation efforts and logistics management, including scanning and checking out hardware, managing Azure DevOps tickets, and verifying system health.
Responsibilities
- Vendor and logistics coordination for deployment
- Integrate support and coordination with primary lab sites for solution delivery
- Physical implementation of hardware within the Server Installation environment
- Manage tracks/rails, servers, power distribution units, and network equipment
- Perform basic cabling tasks
- Conduct possible sheet metal modifications/drilling
- System administration and support including imaging with MECM
- Manage Active Directory and Security Groups
- Handle typical support activities for issue intake and changes
- Coordinate server installation efforts with other teams
- Scan and checkout hardware for will-call requests
- Capture serial number and part information for inventory
- Action customer work-order tickets in Azure DevOps
- Verify system SKUs and confirm basic system health
- Facilitate delivery requests for equipment from inventory
- Assist logistics coordinators with various tasks
