About the position

The position is for servers at WCC, seeking friendly and outgoing individuals with good communication skills and basic knowledge of food and drink varieties. The role involves working in a fun and supportive team environment, catering to members in a fast-paced setting. Part-time day and evening shifts are available year-round, with a focus on providing excellent service and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming all members.
• Answering questions about menu items and explaining how they are prepared.
• Responsible alcohol service, with TIPS preferred.
• Maintaining an effective work atmosphere as a team member.
• Mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to prescribed recipes or portions.
• Keeping the bar/dining room stocked with necessary supplies.
• Completing side work before each shift is mandatory.
• Keeping workstation clean and well organized.
• Transmitting orders to the kitchen, noting the timing of meal progression.
• Maintaining dining experience by inquiring about needs, removing courses as completed, and being alert to any special needs of the members.
• Reporting to work well manicured with a neat and clean uniform.
• Being flexible to work in other areas/positions as scheduled and when needed.
