We have an immediate opening for a Server Rack Production Operator to join our assembly team responsible for building our client's products that meet product quality requirements and shipment deadlines. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures are carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits. The position involves working with server-level components such as chassis, motherboards, CPUs, heat sinks, DIMMs, and SSD cards, as well as rack-level components including racks, servers, PDUs, switches, power cables, network cables, fiber optic cables, and IB cables. Rack integration work includes liquid-cooled servers, requiring the operator to install the rack components using a ladder and server lift. The role encompasses everything from unboxing rack components to packing the fully assembled racks. Some degree of server rack assembly experience is required for this position since the job involves using a server lift, pallet jack, and screwdrivers. Candidates who can read rack layouts and cable mapping are highly preferred. Essential duties include server rack assembly, utilizing a pallet jack, reading rack layouts and cable mapping, using ladders of various heights, lifting heavy weights (up to 50 lbs), unboxing rack components, packaging fully assembled racks, assembling products on the production line, performing in-process inspections to ensure products meet specifications and standards, maintaining an organized and safe work environment, following instructions, responding to management direction, adhering to company policies, and performing other assembly line duties as directed by the supervisor.
