About The Position

The position at Vista Prime Steaks & Seafood is focused on providing superior guest service. The primary responsibilities include greeting and welcoming guests, taking and delivering orders, and explaining and upselling menu items. The role requires adherence to Washington State liquor laws and guidelines while maintaining a high level of guest service. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a pay rate starting at $17.03 per hour, dependent on experience, plus tips. The shift for this position is swing shift.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD)
• Six (6) months in Fine Dining.
• One (1) year in Guest Service.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Solid wine and cocktail knowledge.
• Passion for customer service.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach and stretch for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform light lifting, up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to visually observe work area.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (orally and in writing).
• Ability to memorize.
• Proven knowledge of alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the table, take beverage and food orders, answer questions, and provide suggestions to guests.
• Pre-bus tables continuously, refill beverages.
• Stay current on all menu changes and nightly updates.
• Complete daily and weekly assigned stocking and cleaning duties.
• Provide support to Team Members whenever needed.
• Provide table-side service.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
