About the position
West Hillsborough Pizzeria is seeking a full-time Server/Waiter to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. This position supports the expansion of our business and is integral to our commitment to quality food and service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers
- Take food and beverage orders from customers
- Take orders over the phone
- Key in orders and payments into the POS system
- Provide good customer service
- Assist with ensuring great presentation of all dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the dining room
- Monitor front of the house stock, supplies, and paper goods, and place orders when there are shortages
- Complete closing duties at the end of shift, including wiping tables, sweeping, cleaning dining room, and assisting with washing dishes
- Perform additional duties as needed and assigned
