About the position
The Server/Waitstaff position at Maplewood Senior Living involves providing exceptional service to residents in a luxury senior living environment. Responsibilities
- Follows the posted work schedule and arrives on time in appropriate work attire.
- Responsible for maintaining the kitchen and other assigned areas in a sanitary manner.
- Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with coworkers and residents.
- Familiar with food handling procedures and regulations.
- Operate kitchen appliances such as the dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, coffee maker, and ice machine.
- Assist with food preparation, inventory, maintenance, food deliveries, and shelve stock.
Requirements
- Some kitchen experience is desirable.
- Basic knife skills required.
- Familiarity with food handling operations.
- Knowledge of OSHA-MSDS sheets and procedures.
- Knowledge of fire and safety procedures.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
