About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using menus and provide recommendations when necessary.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food handling and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to resolve issues effectively.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service throughout the transaction.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and quality control.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling practices is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others as part of a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
