About the position
The Server at Hayes Eateries LLC is responsible for providing excellent service to guests in a fast-paced dining environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and customer service skills, along with the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide excellent customer service
- Take orders and serve food and drinks, including making recommendations and answering questions about menu items
- Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including setting and clearing tables and washing dishes and utensils
- Communicate effectively with other team members, including the kitchen staff and management
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a server or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills
