About the position
The Oasis Club at CG Davenport is seeking a part-time Server to join their team. This role is essential in providing exceptional hospitality and superior service to guests in a fast-paced environment. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
- Describes specials of the day to the guests and answers questions regarding menu items.
- Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food promptly after preparation.
- Follows up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenishes items as needed.
- Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
- Maintains an organized workstation and completes side work duties.
- Accountable for checks and cash transactions, utilizing the Point of Sales System.
- Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
- Adheres to established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery, and general service techniques.
- Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of serving experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must meet state age requirements for handling alcohol.
