About the position

The Server at our assisted living facility plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional food and beverage service to residents. This position focuses on creating a warm and welcoming dining experience while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and dining environment. The Server is responsible for assisting with meal service, addressing resident needs, and ensuring a positive dining atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents as they are seated and ensure the table is clean with necessary utensils and napkins.
• Distribute menus and present daily specials to residents.
• Answer questions regarding the menu and take orders for meals and beverages.
• Serve meals and beverages according to residents' preferences and dietary requirements.
• Deliver food and beverage orders to the kitchen and ensure correct preparation.
• Collect plates and clear tables as customers finish their meals.
• Assist with cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments.
• Maintain a steady supply of clean dishes and equipment during meal service.
• Support kitchen cleanup by removing trash, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Required Health Screening, TB Clearance, and Criminal Record Clearance.
• First Aid/CPR Certification is required.
• Previous experience as a server is preferred.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
