About the position

The Server position at SuBourbon Rock & Oyster Bar involves providing excellent customer service in a bar/nightclub environment. The role requires greeting and seating customers, taking orders, and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining a clean work area and adhering to food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
• Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or special requests
• Handle cash transactions and process payments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role is preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to handle multiple tables and customers simultaneously while maintaining composure
• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
