About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The Server will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with various tasks within the kitchen and dining area.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
• Assist with food preparation and handling as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
• Buss tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining environment for guests.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as necessary.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns or special requests.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens to assist guests with their selections.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Experience in the food industry is preferred, with knowledge of food handling practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and cash register operations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A proactive attitude towards helping others, whether it's assisting guests or supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in bussing or serving in a nightclub or restaurant setting is a plus.
