Requirements

• Phenomenal Customer Service skills with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a food server.
• Fluent in English with clear verbal and written skills.
• Basic Math and cash handling abilities.
• Experience with Point of Sales systems and other technologies.
• Ability to arrive on time ready to work for all assigned shifts including, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Valid Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time during shift.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests with Aloha spirit.
• Answers guests questions, describes food specials and featured bakery items.
• Ability to have an in-depth understanding of our restaurant and bakery menu including ingredients.
• Relays orders to kitchen through point of sale system.
• Prepares beverages and expedites food orders.
• Prepares soup, salads, desserts, brews coffee, and performs other services as needed.
• Monitors guests and responds to any additional requests.
• Totals bills and accepts payments through point of sales system.
• Sets‐up, restocks and cleans as needed.
• Pre‐buses and resets tables at conclusion of each service.
• Completes side work in a timely manner.
• Computes and turns in amounts received and any tendered items at end of shift.
• Keeps areas clean by sweeping floors, wiping down equipment, and other sanitation jobs assigned.
• Follows all sanitation guidelines as prescribed by the health department.
• Understands and complies with all general and specific safe job procedures including wearing slip resistant shoes, utilizing proper lifting techniques.
