About the position

The Server position at Fields Senior Living involves providing excellent dining service to residents in a senior living community. The role focuses on delivering food orders, ensuring dietary restrictions are respected, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment. The Server will also support residents emotionally and behaviorally, assist with meal delivery, and uphold resident rights while fostering a positive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver residents' food orders in a timely manner.
• Know the details of the menu and items that may impact a resident's diet restrictions.
• Pour and serve beverages for residents, ensuring the hospitality bar is stocked with fresh beverages.
• Follow kitchen and dining room cleaning schedules.
• Keep the environment safe and clean.
• Observe residents for safety and report all changes in resident condition effectively and accurately to the management team.
• Uphold resident rights at all times.
• Support residents with emotional and behavioral issues positively.
• Assist other staff as needed on the floors.
• Assist residents to and from meals, delivering meals to residents' apartments and helping serve in memory care as necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check and Health Screening including TB test.
• Must be eighteen (18) years old.
• Maintains current first aid certification and food handler certification.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret diet restrictions.
• Ability to prioritize and organize assignments.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing in standard English.
