About the position

Eddie's Rise n' Dine is seeking friendly and energetic individuals to join our team as Casual Dining Servers. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience for guests in a casual dining environment. The ideal candidates will be proactive and team-oriented, delivering prompt and efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen.
• Provide attentive and personalized service to meet the needs of guests.
• Set and clear tables efficiently, ensuring a clean and organized dining area.
• Refill water glasses, and offer additional beverages as needed.
• Monitor and address guest needs throughout their dining experience.
• Have a good understanding of the menu, including daily specials.
• Make recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Stay informed about ingredients and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system.
• Communicate special requests or modifications to the kitchen staff.
• Ensure timely and coordinated delivery of food and beverages to the tables.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to maintain a smooth flow of service.
• Communicate effectively with team members to fulfill guest requests.
• Assist colleagues during peak times to ensure a high level of service.
• Process guest payments accurately, handling cash and electronic transactions.
• Provide change and receipts promptly and professionally.
• Address any billing inquiries or discrepancies with courtesy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a server in a casual dining setting is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Basic math skills for order processing and handling payments.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
