About the position

The Server at Green Ridge Village is responsible for preparing dining areas for meals, serving food to residents, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. This part-time position requires working evenings and rotating weekends and holidays, ensuring that residents receive timely and attractive meals while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas for meals, including setting tables with dinnerware and decoration.
• Serve accurate and attractive meals in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper food temperature when serving.
• Communicate with and respond to customer meal requests.
• Obtain meal orders from residents.
• Monitor and maintain proper levels of supplies and food items in work areas and dining rooms.
• Observe and report changes in residents' dining habits to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining services equipment and work area.
• Ensure proper storage of food items according to policy.
• Operate dishwasher when appropriate.

Requirements
