About the position

The Server position at Sonny's BBQ is designed to create memorable dining experiences for guests through exceptional service and a passion for BBQ. Servers are responsible for not only taking orders but also engaging with guests to ensure they have a delightful and enjoyable time, embodying the spirit of southern hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and attentive service to guests.
• Engage with guests to create memorable experiences.
• Pre-bus tables to maintain cleanliness in the restaurant.
• Stock service areas with necessary supplies such as coffee, tea, and ice.
• Ensure a positive dining atmosphere with a focus on southern hospitality.
• Participate in cross-training opportunities when available.

Requirements

• Related experience and/or training in the restaurant industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with guests and team members.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Basic computer skills.
