About the position

The Service Account Executive at Convergint Technologies is a full-time role focused on generating new service sales opportunities and cultivating relationships with customers. This position is integral to the sales team, emphasizing a consultative approach to selling and the development of customized service solutions. The role requires a proactive mindset to identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining high customer satisfaction and achieving revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and cultivate new relationships to secure service sales opportunities.
  • Generate new Customer Support Program service agreements through the acquisition of new accounts.
  • Sell CSPs to existing customers and renew, upsell, and cross-sell into other service product segments.
  • Build customized solutions from an extensive suite of service offerings.
  • Develop a sales pipeline by working with decision makers to assess needs and gain agreement on business cases.
  • Construct winning proposals that include quotes and business cases.
  • Present proposals to decision makers and manage objections related to timing, price, and competition.
  • Identify, prospect, and develop pipeline specific to assigned markets and service solutions.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and subject matter experts to create and deliver winning proposals.
  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing customer accounts to ensure high satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous B2B full cycle sales experience.
  • Proven history of achieving sales goals in a consultative sales environment.
  • Strong affinity for problem solving and a hunter mentality in sales.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office and strong presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in selling maintenance services, SAAS solutions, and managed services.
  • Familiarity with networking and industry associations.
