About the position

The Service Advisor at Sunset Kia of Sarasota serves as the first point of contact for service customers, providing outstanding customer service and facilitating communication between customers and technicians. This role is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the service department's efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Show outstanding customer service as the first point of contact for service customers.
  • Use active listening to engage and understand the customer's vehicle issues and concerns.
  • Create repair orders and communicate vehicle needs clearly to technicians.
  • Communicate vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customers.
  • Advise and sell needed work to customers.
  • Follow up on vehicles throughout the repair process, keeping customers updated.
  • Interact with customers, vendors, and technicians in a professional manner at all times.

Requirements

  • Experience advising auto service customers required.
  • X-Time Inspect and Reynolds & Reynolds Ignite experience helpful.
  • Proven customer service skills are essential.
  • Good automotive knowledge and background preferred.
  • Computer/tablet knowledge and experience required.
  • Valid Driver's License is a must.
