About the position

The Service Advisor position is a full-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment. The advisor will be responsible for managing repair orders, scheduling service work, and ensuring effective communication with customers regarding their service needs.

Responsibilities

  • Originate repair orders for service and sales departments
  • Schedule retail and internal service work appropriately
  • Track job status and progress
  • Communicate with customers
  • Ensure service work is approved in advance
  • Return phone calls and emails promptly
  • Take payment for repair orders and review work performed with customers
  • Process warranty claims with manufacturers
  • Check inventory and customer units for service bulletins and recalls

Requirements

  • In depth experience with Customer Service
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a very busy environment
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
