About The Position

The Service Advisor at California Truck Centers is responsible for facilitating communication between customers and service technicians regarding vehicle repair needs. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assist them in determining their vehicle repair needs.
  • Prepare Repair Orders and enter orders into service database systems.
  • Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, labor, and fees, including calculating customer payments and deductibles.
  • Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicles.
  • Obtain customer approval of estimates.
  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and submitting warranty pre-approvals with suppliers.
  • Maintain log records and corrective actions with notes of customer interaction via telephone, email, or in person.
