About the position

The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for customers at Motor Coach Industries (MCI), ensuring a positive customer experience during service visits. This role involves greeting customers, preparing repair orders, communicating repair status, and managing warranty claims, while also seeking opportunities to up-sell services.

Responsibilities

  • Greets customers and processes check-in paperwork, ensuring customer comfort.
  • Communicates with customers regarding the status of estimates, changes, and up-selling opportunities.
  • Opens, changes, and closes repair orders efficiently.
  • Administers and determines warranty claims for customers.
  • Formalizes all estimates from the shop for presentation to customers.

Requirements

  • 5 years of service operations and customer service experience, preferably in an automobile dealership in a service writer role.
  • Strong organizational and PC skills.
  • Basic knowledge of motor coach repair.
  • High School diploma required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Valid ASE Certification.
