About the position

The Service Advisor at indiGO Auto Group plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency within the service department. This position involves greeting customers, managing repair orders, and maintaining communication with both customers and service staff. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the team's success by meeting sales and customer satisfaction metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and accurately record their concerns to generate work orders.
  • Track the status of open repair orders and keep customers and dispatch updated.
  • Obtain necessary training to understand warranty coverage for each franchise.
  • Perform regular follow-ups with previous customers to schedule maintenance appointments.
  • Notify customers when ordered parts arrive and schedule appointments for repairs.
  • Assist the cashier in closing tickets and inform customers when their vehicles are ready for pickup.
  • Explain repair order charges to customers and report any service issues to the service manager.
  • Strive to meet management's metrics for sales per repair order, total gross profit, repair orders per day, and customer satisfaction scores.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Service Advisor role strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and sales history, preferably with a luxury dealership.
  • Excellent verbal and math skills, which may be tested and evaluated.
  • Ability to be insured to operate a motor vehicle.
