About the position

As a Trek Service Technician, you will be responsible for caring for bikes to ensure their owners enjoy riding them. This role involves troubleshooting repairs and servicing various types of bikes, while also building relationships with customers who trust you to maintain their gear. The position offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same, and you will have the opportunity to work with new bike models before they are available for sale. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a willingness to learn, and a motivation to develop technical skills as a technician.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot repairs and service all kinds of bikes.
• Build relationships with customers to ensure their bikes are maintained properly.
• Work with new bike models before they hit the sales floor.
• Provide excellent customer service and hospitality.
• Learn proper service methods and new technologies.

Requirements

• Self-motivation and a positive, team-focused mentality.
• Fantastic hospitality and great listening skills.
• Top-notch communication skills.
• Impressive attention to detail and a love for tinkering.
• Eagerness to learn the ins and outs of servicing bicycles.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior mechanic experience is not required but is a plus.
