As a Service Advisor at Jimmy Britt Chevrolet, you will be the first point of contact for customers in the service lane, responsible for managing their experience regarding vehicle status, repairs, and diagnostics. Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, prompt, and courteous customer service to our guests.
  • Oversee service orders and the flow of the drive lane.
  • Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out additional assignments that leave a positive impression.
  • Utilize all communication methods (phone, text, email, video, and in-person) to update customers on their vehicle status.
  • Leverage dealership tools to communicate with technicians and customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
  • Assist the service lane team in answering inbound customer inquiries and scheduling maintenance.
  • Ensure daily inventory of technicians' time is utilized based on customer needs, distributing work efficiently.
  • Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
  • Oversee and participate in quality control.
  • Increase profitability by maximizing sales and executing retail promotions.
  • Maintain top tier CSI scores and help deliver experiences that generate positive reviews.
  • Oversee administration of warranty claims.
  • Encourage company policies and adhere to standards that maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and collaborate with management and technicians.

Requirements

  • Time management skills
  • Organized and friendly personality
  • Fantastic communication skills with customers and guests
  • Ability to multitask despite environmental distractions
  • Ability to present options for service and repairs and explain offerings
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice-to-haves

  • Any previous experience as a service advisor preferred, but not required
  • Bilingual is a plus
