About the position

The Service & Events Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the programming and logistical tasks for Sunday services and planning and executing events for the ministry. This part-time role requires collaboration with various departments and team members to ensure smooth operations and impactful experiences during services and events.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lead Pastors and project manager.
• Coordinate Sunday Services and oversee their execution from programming to logistics.
• Plan and execute events from concept development to completion.
• Coordinate logistics including venue selection, setup, vendor arrangements, budgeting, and equipment needs.
• Partner with various departments to align event goals and ensure cohesive planning.
• Serve as a lead point of contact for teams, volunteers, and vendors to streamline communication.
• Work within allocated budgets to procure necessary supplies and services.
• Track expenditures, provide budget updates, and seek cost-effective solutions.
• Oversee setup, management, and teardown of events, addressing issues in real-time.
• Coordinate with venue staff and volunteer support as needed.
• Conduct debrief meetings with the Events Team and stakeholders to assess event outcomes and gather feedback.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in a ministry, nonprofit, or corporate environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
