About the position

The Service Associate Supervisor (BHS) at Bloomingdale's is responsible for leading the b-Helpful service center team, focusing on enhancing the customer experience through efficient service in various areas such as Buy Online Pick-up in Store (BOPS), Curbside Pickup, and Gift Wrap. This role involves supervising operations, training colleagues, and ensuring high service standards while fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the b-Helpful Center, setting and overseeing service, presentation, process, and customer interaction expectations.
  • Lead the evolution of b-Helpful and elevate the customer experience.
  • Cross train colleagues for proficiency in all functions and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Deliver BOPS and Curbside on time with an outstanding experience.
  • Educate the team on Gift Wrap skills and ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Model expected service standards and provide coaching and feedback to colleagues.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years related experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate with diverse groups.
  • Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
