About the position

The Service Assurance Agent at FedEx is responsible for conducting root cause analysis to enhance service quality and operational efficiency. This role involves providing feedback to management, proposing solutions to operational challenges, and supporting the service assurance network and quality improvement processes across various operations. The agent will also handle inventory tracking and maintenance support for devices, equipment, and software.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on root cause analysis to improve service quality.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding operational issues.
  • Offer solutions and actions to resolve operational problems.
  • Promote and support the service assurance network and quality improvement processes.
  • Provide inventory tracking and maintenance support for devices, equipment, and software.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Eighteen (18) months of FedEx experience.
  • Ability to complete all basic and re-currency training.
  • Knowledge of FedEx operations and features of service.
  • Knowledge of mainframe and web-based applications such as Cosmos, GNSL, FAMIS, IMS, TSO, CMS, etc.
  • Proficiency in PC applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and graphics.
