The position involves performing a combination of duties which may include janitorial, housekeeping, general labor, facility, laundry, and food services. The work is conducted within a well-defined framework of policies and procedures, under immediate supervision. Responsibilities include cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, stripping and waxing floors and common areas using various equipment. General manual labor duties such as moving furniture, file cabinets, equipment, and supplies are also required. The role includes assisting with laundry duties, receiving and maintaining inventory of food items, clothing, bedding, and other supplies. Additionally, the incumbent will monitor and inspect the facility and equipment, identifying remedies and reporting any related health, safety, and security concerns to management. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
