About the position
The Service Billing Specialist is responsible for managing daily and monthly customer service billing functions at CLI Services. This role requires effective teamwork and communication with various departments to ensure accurate billing and customer satisfaction. The position involves handling a high volume of work, necessitating strong time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills to contribute to the company's profitability.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily customer billing functions including review of employee job tickets for accuracy.
- Input and update inventory specific to customer product codes.
- Process equipment rental or subcontractor invoicing and costs.
- Run pricing and warranty programs against all invoices.
- Ensure compliance with customer pricing and distribution instructions.
- Manage accounts receivable invoicing in accordance with customer contracts.
- Ensure accurate travel labor costs are assigned to work orders.
- Assist in problem resolution with subcontractors and document revisions as needed.
- Validate accuracy of employee time and job costing for reporting.
Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in invoicing for a construction or service environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic Excel skills.
- Understanding of customer contract terms and conditions.
- Basic knowledge of sales tax application.
