About the position

The Service Consultant position at Amboy Bank involves providing exceptional customer service in a call center environment. The associate will handle incoming calls, resolve client inquiries, and promote bank products and services. Responsibilities

• Receive and field incoming customer service calls and email correspondence.
• Promptly and effectively research and resolve customer inquiries to customer satisfaction.
• Exceed customer expectations by accurately assessing needs and providing smart solutions.
• Ensure customers are well informed on product and service information to help with future needs.
• Ensure expedient handling of customer inquiries that require additional banking resources, and follow through to ensure customer inquiries are satisfactorily handled.
• Comply with banking standards on policies, procedures and operational guidelines for customer service in the Call Center organization.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding and knowledge in utilizing technology and various software packages used by the bank.
• Participate in Call Center administrative projects as necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service environment.
• 1 year of experience in banking and banking systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple customer requests.

Nice-to-haves
