About the position
The Service Contract Renewal Representative at Hach is responsible for proactively renewing service contracts on Hach instrumentation within an assigned territory. This role focuses on maintaining and growing service contract revenue by building customer rapport and establishing trust through a consultative selling approach. The representative will engage with customers to quote, negotiate, and secure annual service partnership renewals, while also identifying upselling opportunities to expand service offerings. This position is part of the Service Commercial team and is based at the Loveland, CO headquarters, with ideal working hours between 8 am and 4:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with customers to quote, negotiate, and secure annual Service Partnership renewals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive retention and loyalty.
- Identify upselling opportunities to expand service offerings and increase revenue.
- Collaborate with account owners and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time renewals, minimizing or eliminating churn.
- Utilize CRM & ERP systems to accurately manage customer interactions and track progress, maintaining high standards of data integrity.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to address inquiries, resolve issues, and exceed customer expectations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
- 2 years or more of sales/retention or tele-sales experience in a B2B environment.
- Strong working knowledge of SFDC, Oracle, and Microsoft Office preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in service contract renewals or similar roles.
- Familiarity with Hach products and services.
