About the position
The Service Contract Specialist role involves assisting in the abstraction of data from a large volume of service contracts. The position requires a high level of reading comprehension and attention to detail to analyze contract language and extract necessary data points. The specialist will enter this data into Excel and validate it against contract PDFs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in meeting key performance indicators (KPIs). This is a remote contract position that demands self-motivation and focus in a home office environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in data abstraction from a variety of 8,000 service contracts
- Analyze contract language and pull required data points based on contract type
- Enter data into specified fields within Excel
- Cross-reference contract PDFs to validate existing data fields in Excel
- Prioritize tasks to meet KPIs including velocity and accuracy
- Maintain focus and self-motivation in a home office environment
Requirements
- Prior experience reading and analyzing service contracts
- High level of reading comprehension
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience working remotely in a distraction-free work environment
Nice-to-haves
- Healthcare contracts experience
- Familiarity with physicians agreements
