The Service Coordinator at ABB plays a crucial role in coordinating service work at customer sites, ensuring compliance with both ABB's and customer guidelines. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers during service execution, focusing on delivering exceptional support and enhancing customer experience. The role operates in a hybrid work model and contributes to the Process Automation Energy Industries division, which is dedicated to sustainable solutions in various industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate service work at customer sites and ensure compliance with guidelines.
  • Act as the single point of contact for customers during service jobs.
  • Lead and deliver responsive support coordination to exceed customer expectations.
  • Assess gaps in service delivery and work with engineers and operations managers to mitigate issues.
  • Track completion of service visits and ensure timely documentation.
  • Maintain and monitor competency and certification database.
  • Collaborate with other coordinators to allocate Field Service Engineers effectively.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or 2 years of customer service experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service role.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
