The Service Craftsperson position at Nabholz Construction involves performing various carpentry tasks essential for the maintenance and construction of commercial buildings and other structures. Under direct supervision, the role emphasizes safety, client satisfaction, and teamwork while adhering to corporate policies and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep safety as a priority by following all Nabholz and job-specific safety procedures.
• Receive instructions from the supervisor to perform job tasks.
• Set up and operate woodworking tools to cut, form, and finish materials for the job.
• Erect or dismantle structures, repair or refinish walls or structures.
• Install wood and/or metal parts, including roofing and siding.
• Perform framing, drywall hanging, and minor drywall finishing.
• Conduct painting, touch-ups, or incidental painting after structure repairs.
• Form, place, and finish concrete as needed.
• Install and repair ceilings.
• Hang doors and install locks and hardware.
• Cut, fit, and weld structural and miscellaneous steel.
• Maintain shop equipment and tools.
• Participate in team and morale-building activities throughout job duties.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years' experience directly related to the duties specified.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship program, training program, or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or work experience.
• Ability to work in noisy and extreme temperature environments.
• Fulfill the list of required hand tools within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to work outside of normal hours and respond to 24x7 emergency call-outs as needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
