About the position

The Service Customer Dispatch Representative at TEKsystems is responsible for the efficient dispatch of service requests and preventative maintenance inspections. This role involves direct collaboration with technicians and field leaders to create optimized schedules using routing software, while also managing the backlog of requests and providing updates on pending tasks. The dispatcher will handle incoming calls from technicians and assist with customer inquiries as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Timely dispatch of service requests and preventative maintenance inspections.
  • Work directly with technicians and field leaders to build optimized schedules.
  • Manage backlog and provide updates on aging or pending requests.
  • Take incoming calls from technicians to update schedules and ticket notes.
  • Monitor regional email boxes to assist with scheduling needs.
  • Assist with inbound customer calls and create service requests as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 1+ years' work experience with high volume phone calls.
