About the position

The Customer Service Representative position at Team Gillman is designed for motivated individuals who thrive in a competitive environment. This role involves working in the Business Development Center, focusing on enhancing customer experiences through effective communication and appointment scheduling. The position offers a supportive work environment with no late nights or early mornings, allowing representatives to choose their Saturday shifts. Candidates will engage with customers via phone, text, and social media, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Receiving inbound service phone messages, texts, and leads.
• Identifying the client's needs and scheduling appointments.
• Placing outbound phone calls to potential customers including text messages and emails.
• Contacting clients prior to appointment date to confirm appointments.
• Following up post-visit to ensure customer satisfaction when applicable.
• Contacting customers and performing a needs analysis including make, type, and features of vehicle desired.
• Handling a high volume of Service Retention leads that are of high-quality, paid and organic internet leads.
• Setting, confirming, and following up with all appointments if required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Extensive customer service, sales, or telemarketing background.
• Excellent Social Media Skills: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.
• Proficient in Text Messaging.
• Outstanding Relationship Building Skills with Potential Clients.
• Computer literacy, strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Vietnamese, Spanish, or Arabic preferred but not required.
• Prior sales, service, or BDC training with a proven track record is a PLUS.
• Experience in automotive or trucking.
