About the position

The Service Delivery Center Senior - Financial Services Organization - QA Automation Guidewire Tester role at EY focuses on delivering exceptional testing subject matter expertise and solving complex problems in the financial services industry. The position involves designing, building, deploying, and customizing technical solutions to enhance software application delivery and system integration projects, primarily using Java and various web technologies. The role requires collaboration with client engagement teams and leadership to ensure high-quality deliverables and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional testing subject matter expertise and solve complex problems for clients.
  • Work directly with client engagement and delivery center leadership teams on executing the Engagement Management Framework.
  • Conduct tests and analyze results to ensure software meets specified standards and client requirements.
  • Plan, design, and implement tools or assets to solve complex problems, primarily using custom Java-based tools and frameworks.
  • Develop client relationships across multiple levels and support sales efforts.
  • Contribute to the development of technical solutions throughout the solution delivery center.
  • Lead team meetings and provide detailed reviews of team members' work products.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Approximately 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge in Java and OOP concepts with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Experience with test automation using tools such as Junit, Selenium, RESTAssured for at least 2 years.
  • Deep experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite and DuckCreek products, including integration experience with external vendors.
  • Experience working in the insurance sector and on API integrations with hands-on experience in implementing API and integration automation processes.
  • At least 2 years of experience with complex test automation frameworks, data querying (SQL), data analytics, and CICD implementations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications or degree specializations in application development, analytics, test automation, or artificial intelligence.
  • Guidewire certification.
