About the position

The Service Delivery Manager at Dell Technologies is responsible for overseeing the delivery of managed services to clients, ensuring that technical solutions meet their needs efficiently and effectively. This role involves leading a hybrid team, managing financial components of service delivery, and fostering strong relationships with customers to enhance their experience. The position also requires collaboration with various business units to promote the success of managed services and to maintain talent through recruitment and development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Be the Head of delivery for this engagement who is accountable for all elements of services scope
  • Lead a hybrid team that spans across Technical Delivery, Project Management, Capacity Management, Service Governance, Risk/Vulnerability - all facets of managed services delivery
  • Manage components of the P&L including Revenue, Margin, Utilisation and ongoing efficiencies / service improvement initiatives
  • Engage with our customers to develop leadership relations and facilitate outstanding customer experience
  • Collaborate with Dell Technologies business units and promote the success of Managed Services
  • Assist in maintaining talent by being part of recruiting, training and developing talent
  • Optimise internal processes, practices and quality standards

Requirements

  • Executive presence and deep experience/expertise in running and operating a P&L
  • Advanced knowledge of finance, contract management, customer relationship, leadership and relevant industry
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, project management skills, ability to motivate, and develop teams and individuals
  • Strong negotiation skills when interacting with internal organization and 3rd parties
  • Demonstrated experience leading large remote teams

Nice-to-haves

  • Typically 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Typically requires 4+ years managerial/leadership experience
  • Bachelors Degree and/or education in relevant fields would be advantageous
