About the position

The Service Delivery Technician at Iron Mountain plays a crucial role in providing physical support for data center equipment in a critical environment. This position involves high engagement with customers, employees, and vendors, focusing on installations and troubleshooting tasks. Responsibilities

  • Provide remote hands support for any request requiring actions within the data center space including server/network equipment racking, cabling and provide hands-on support for customer requests.
  • Monitor service management ticketing system for tasks as assigned throughout your daily shift, including customer requests, escorting, trouble tickets, material handling, and customer installations.
  • Proactively identify issues and take the needed steps to resolve them.
  • Manage shipping and receiving tasks including inbound and outbound shipments, dock space management, package delivery, customer service, and assist with recycling efforts.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years experience in a customer service or data center environment preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to multitask using several different systems to manage ticket queues.
  • Attention to detail to understand and follow documented processes and safety codes.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills to manage time efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Dedication and desire to learn and grow within Iron Mountain.
  • Customer service mentality, being customer obsessed.
