About the position

The Service Desk Representative at Outworx Corporation is a contract position focused on providing technical support and customer service to users, particularly in a healthcare setting. The role requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients via email and phone. The representative will work remotely, assisting users with software issues, VPN access, and multi-factor authentication, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to users via email and phone.
  • Troubleshoot software issues, including Epic and Microsoft products.
  • Assist users with VPN access and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Maintain a helpful and friendly disposition while resolving customer inquiries.
  • Document and track support requests in the help desk system.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of recent experience in a Help Desk/Service Desk role, preferably in a healthcare organization.
  • Experience supporting Epic, Microsoft (Windows and Office), and VPN.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Customer service experience in addition to technical support.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in customer-facing IT support roles outside of Help Desk/Service Desk, such as food service or retail.
  • Longevity with previous/current employers.
