About the position

The Service Dispatcher position is a critical role within our organization, responsible for managing the daily schedules of technicians, setting appointments, and providing support for clients and customers. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure customer satisfaction with our products, services, and features. As a Service Dispatcher, you will be working in a fast-paced environment that demands strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as solid computer proficiency. You will need to self-manage effectively while meeting performance expectations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our technicians and customers, coordinating service requests and ensuring that appointments are scheduled in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the dispatching process, requiring a keen problem-solving ability. Your organizational skills will be essential as you manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring that all service requests are handled promptly and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dispatching or customer service, with at least three years of relevant experience. Familiarity with dispatch software, particularly Service Titan, is preferred, as is knowledge of the HVAC industry. You will be expected to operate a multi-line phone system and possess geographical knowledge of the service area to optimize scheduling and service delivery. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of up to $28, depending on experience, and requires availability for overtime as needed.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
  • 3+ years of experience in dispatching or customer service role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of dispatch software, preferably Service Titan.
  • Familiarity with the HVAC industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
