About the position

The Service Drive Acquisition Manager at Inver Grove Honda is responsible for creating and managing a department focused on capturing used car inventory, generating sales leads, and enhancing customer service. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency in leveraging technology to identify acquisition opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize existing software tools to identify incoming service appointments with high resale potential.
  • Contact and confirm service appointments while requesting appraisal opportunities.
  • Collaborate with service drive personnel for a seamless service write-up process.
  • Assist Used Car management in providing quick and accurate vehicle appraisals.
  • Transition customers to the sales department to ensure a smooth handoff.
  • Add all leads to VinSolutions and include relevant notes regardless of service drive success.
  • Prioritize opportunities using VinSolutions based on inventory value.
  • Confirm appointments using time management software to optimize scheduling.
  • Check CDK for financial information to inform decision-making.
  • Maintain daily records of customer interactions via VinSolutions, Excel, or Google Sheets.
