About the position
The Service Driver position at Boyer Trucks involves transporting trucks to and from the dealership, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and maintaining communication with supervisors. This role is essential for supporting the service team in delivering high-quality transportation solutions and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Driving trucks to and from the dealership to their destination.
- Maintaining truck log according to state and federal regulations.
- Maintaining telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
- Dropping off customers who have vehicles in for service.
- Inspecting truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, equivalent or higher.
- Proven ability to work well on a team.
- Class A CDL or the ability to obtain a Class A CDL.
- Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
- Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
