About the position

The Service Line Sales Leader at Cognizant is a strategic role focused on driving growth within the Insurance domain. This position involves executing business development strategies, establishing client relationships, and leveraging industry knowledge to enhance service offerings. The leader will be responsible for meeting sales targets and fostering partnerships to create tailored solutions for clients in the insurance sector.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand Industry Solutions Group (ISG) offerings in North America across Insurance services.
  • Provide sales and presales support for existing and new customers using DuckCreek and other PnC platform solutions.
  • Understand market dynamics and client needs to position Insurance ISG services offerings into client-aligned business solutions.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships through relationships and asset creation with software partners.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients, fostering relationships with key stakeholders in the industry and within Cognizant.
  • Collaborate with client partners and technical teams to identify opportunities and craft tailored network solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead business discussions and client value discovery workshops to ensure revenue success with clients and partners.
  • Meet or exceed service line sales/BD targets by implementing effective go-to-market strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of 20+ years in insurance services as a subject matter expert.
  • Understanding of the PnC business and enterprise architecture.
  • Familiarity with SDLC and COTS implementation life.

  • Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Ability to contribute to new business development efforts in a dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex assignments.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving abilities with strategic solution identification skills.
