About The Position
The Facilities Maintenance Technician at Freeport-McMoRan is responsible for performing a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks related to the maintenance and repair of company-owned facilities, including residential homes, a golf course, and associated buildings. This role encompasses plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry, landscaping, and equipment maintenance, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and operational. The technician will also handle irrigation installation and repair, create maintenance schedules, and respond to customer requests regarding building and grounds needs.
