About the position

The Service Management & Operations Manager role at PwC focuses on enhancing the business relationship between PwC and major cloud service providers like Google, HP, Microsoft, and others. The position involves leading teams to help clients adopt cloud technologies, streamline operations, and improve service delivery. As a manager, you will be responsible for guiding teams in solving complex business issues, developing innovative technology solutions, and transforming IT operations into revenue-generating services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new skills outside of comfort zone.
  • Act to resolve issues which prevent the team from working effectively.
  • Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.
  • Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.
  • Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.
  • Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm's/client's expectations.
  • Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
  • Develop a point of view on key global trends, and how they impact clients.
  • Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
  • Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a related role.
  • Preferred: Master Degree in a relevant field.
  • Preferred certifications: ITIL 4, COBIT, ISO 27001, ServiceNow Certification(s), BMC Helix Certification(s), Flexera Certification(s), Jira Service Management (JSM), certifications from leading cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), FinOps Certified Practitioner.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management tools.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps transformations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and their key technologies.
  • Experience with industry-leading discovery technologies (SCCM, Tanium, Armis, Intune).
  • Understanding of IT Financial Management and cost asset management.
