About the position
The Commercial Service Manager at DH Pace Company will oversee the operations of the commercial service department, focusing on scheduling, project management, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and managerial skills to ensure efficient service delivery and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the commercial service department.
- Monitor daily scheduling, customer activity, departmental profitability, and the efficient flow of daily business transactions.
- Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost-effective manner.
- Ensure that projects are completed timely, below budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Review monthly financial/operational reports and work with front-line managers to develop action plans to improve.
- Monitor departmental budgets, inventory, fleet, marketing programs, and competitors.
- Assist with hiring, training, and developing new employees.
- Perform employee performance reviews and provide necessary employee counseling with targeted improvement action plans.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, highly preferred.
- Experience in project management.
- Ability for technical applications and mechanical systems.
- Valid Driver's License and a good driving record.
