The Service Manager will lead the Electrical service department, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and overseeing daily operations. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the service department to ensure efficient operations.
• Manage customer service interactions, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Oversee billing and payment processes and ensure accuracy in transactions.
• Conduct estimating and budgeting for services, providing clear communication to customers regarding their needs.
• Collaborate with the team to promote services and products effectively.
• Train and mentor service staff on best practices in electrical installs, customer interaction, and sales techniques.
• Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the service department.
• Stay updated on industry trends, including advancements in electrical technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an electrical service management role or similar position.
• Strong knowledge of electrical services, including billing, estimating, and electrical repair.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients.
• Ability to lead a team effectively while promoting a positive work culture.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice-to-haves

• Sales experience within the automotive industry is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with air brake systems and related technologies.
