About the position
The Service Manager at OPC Pest Services is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of Pest Control Professionals while ensuring high-quality customer service and technical support. This role involves mentoring and training technicians, performing pest control services, and maintaining operational efficiency within the team. The Service Manager plays a crucial role in upholding the company's commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor service technicians and provide hands-on management.
- Train and develop technicians to motivate the team in providing high-quality customer and technical services.
- Perform quality pest control services and fill in on open routes as necessary.
- Conduct in-house and in-field technician training and meetings.
- Monitor scheduling and routing to drive efficiencies and productivity.
- Guide service technicians in resolving client issues and concerns and ensure that customer expectations are met.
- Interact with both commercial and residential clients and perform quality site inspections.
- Review and submit service-related documents and reporting.
- Assist with interviewing and selecting service technicians.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, perform vehicle and uniform inspections.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- At least 2 years' supervisory and leadership experience
- At least 5 years' progressive pest control experience
- Experience in home services industry is a plus
- Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen.
